All nine Major Arena Soccer League 3 clubs in action this weekend

TAMPA, Fla -- In a rarity, all nine teams in Major Arena Soccer League 3 will be in action this weekend with games throughout the East and Midwest divisions,  highlighted by undefeated Northern Virginia on the road in Fredericksburg and the Midwest division leading Springfield Demize hosting FC Wichita.

Northern Virginia will be looking for its fourth consecutive win when they take on the Fire Saturday in a 7 p.m. start at the Fredericksburg Field House. The two tangled just last weekend, with NOVA FC setting a high-water mark for goals so far in M3 this year in taking a 20-10 win.

The Fire will have to figure out how to slow down Brandon Williamson, who had eight goals in the win.  The Fire's Uriah Bentick tried to keep pace with five goals of his own.

The Philadelphia Spartains will travel to Frederick, Maryland, to meet Skyline City FC in a 7 p.m. kickoff  at the Frederick Indoor Sports Center. The two teams tangled earlier this season, with Philly recording a 12-5 win.

The Spartans are coming off a 9-8 win over Baltimore last weekend. Jason Rocha paced the Philadelphia win with four goals, while the Kings got two each from Dave Cash and Henry Scott.

The Kings will be home Sunday to meet the Fredericksburg Fire in a 9 p.m. start.

There are no undefeated teams in the midwest, with the Demize leading the way at 2-1. They will be hosting FC Wichita Saturday at 7:30 p.m. CST at Lake County Soccer. Sunflower State FC will also be in action Saturday, hosting Des Moines United FC also at 7:30 CST. That showdown will be at Soccer Nation KC. The two will tangle again Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. CST at Soccer Nation.
