TAMPA, Florida -- Look out Atlantic Division, Baltimore is serving notice in Major Arena Soccer League 3 that their might be new Kings in town.

Facing their second straight stern test, the Baltimore Kings powered to a 6-5 win over the Philadelphia Spartans Saturday night in Baltimore's home opener. The Spartans were finalists in the M# title game last spring, falling to Northern Virginia FC who won its third straight MASL 3 championship.

The Kings opened their regular season on the road Nov. 2 against Nova FC, and came home with a 10-8 win over the only champions in MASL 3 history, giving Baltimore a 2-0 start and an early jump on the rest of the division.

Antonios Araviakis scored twice and added two assists to lead the Kings. He has 11 points in Baltimore's first two games.

Also, a regular season match scheduled between Kalamazoo and Detroit was instead played as a scrimmage, with the host United tripping up the Waza Flo, 7-4.
