Baltimore Kings will host MASL 3 playoffs March 27-29 in Fredericksburg, Virginia
TAMPA, Florida – Fredericksburg, Virginia, will be the site of the Major Arena Soccer League 3 playoffs in 2025-26, with games scheduled March 27-29 at the Fredericksburg Fieldhouse.
The MASL 3 Baltimore Kings will serve as tournament hosts. Team owner and player Josh Danza also owns the MASL 2 Salisbury Steaks and has been a long-time supporter and leader of soccer in the Delmarva region.
Quarterfinals action will begin Friday morning, March 27, with semi-finals on March 28 starting at and the Championship game Sunday afternoon, March 29. All games will be broadcast live.
A total of eight teams will earn post-season berths, which includes the top two finishers in each of the four divisions. In game one, the Atlantic's No. 1 seed will meet the No. 2 seed from the Great Lakes North, kicking off at 11 a.m. In game two, East No. 1 will play the South's No. 2 team at 1:30 p.m. The third quarterfinal will feature the South's No. 1 seed against the second team from the East at 4 p.m. , with the final game , starting at 6:30 p.m. on March 27, will feature the Great Lakes No. 1 seed against the second seed in the Atlantic. The sequence of games may be subject to change as the Kings will play the final game of the four quarterfinals as playoff host.
On Saturday, winners of games one and two will square off in one semi-final, while winners in games three and four will make up the other semi-final showdown. Game times are 4 and 7 p.m. Sunday's championship tilt will kickoff at 2 p.m. All times are Eastern Daylight Time.
“Josh is an unbelievable advocate for indoor soccer, and was the host for the league championship series last year in Salisbury,” Commissioner Chris Economides said. “His dedication, experience, professionalism and passion for making sure all teams have a great and positive weekend made it an easy choice as a league to have him host again this year.”
The RGV Barracudas are the defending league champions, having held on to beat the Roc City Boom 8-6 in a memorable finish to the 2024-25 season. RGV built a 7-1 lead, only to see Rochester score five of the game's last six goals before falling just short.
“This will be a community-wide celebration of the sport,” Danza noted. “Our area is steeped in indoor soccer tradition, from the MASL right down to MASL 3. There are and have been a number of MASL 3 clubs in our region, that all play a great brand of indoor soccer, so fans are excited to see the best of the best come here to decide a championship.”
