DMV Gunners contenders after win at NoVA FC

With just four games under their belts DMV Gunners have made it known to the indoor soccer world; we are contenders. That fact was made clear on January 27 when the Gunners handed two-time defending league champion NoVA FC an 11-3 loss on their home floor.

After dropping their first-ever game to the unbeaten Philadelphia Spartans the DMV Gunners (3-1-0) have won three straight games to move into second place in MASL 3.

DMV led from start to finish against NoVA FC (3-2-0) who lost at home for just the second time in three seasons. Rene Quintanilla scored first with an assist by Marcos Garcia Jr. as the visitors built a 9-0 advantage before NoVA got onto the scoreboard.
