Fredericksburg, Baltimore to clash for final playoff spot

One playoff spot remains to be claimed and the two teams who are in position to claim it face off this Saturday. Fredericksburg Fire (6-5-0) and Baltimore Kings (5-5-1) are currently tied for fourth in the MASL 3 standings with one game to play in the regular season. The Kings are set to host the Fire Saturday night at Coppermine Du Burns Arena with the winner moving on, the loser seeing their season come to an end.

Fredericksburg defeated the Kings 7-6 on February 3 in their lone meeting of the season to-date. This matchup moves to Baltimore who are 3-2-0 on their home floor this season.

Virginia Marauders (0-10-0) will look to earn a victory when they play host to the Philadelphia Spartans (8-3-0) in Winchester Saturday night. Philadelphia will be looking to fine-tune things in preparation for their MASL 3 playoff semifinal next weekend.
