TAMPA, Fla -- SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles wasn't the only athletic venue yesterday to have a thrilling finish.

The Fredericksburg Fire thrilled home fans with a dramatic 8-7 win over the Philadelphia Spartans, improving to .500 on the season at 3-3.

The Fire got the game winner from Uriah Bentick, who was pretty much unstoppable on the evening, scoring five of the Fire's goals. Matt Brummett was pretty much the unstoppagle for the Spartans, getting four goals as Philadelphia fell to 3-2 in reaching the mid-point of its regular season.

Northern Virginia FC improved to 5-0 on the season and scored the most goals so far in M3 this season in a 24-8 triumph over the Baltimore Kings in Winchester, Va.

Junior Kadio led the fireworks with a five-goal night. Three teammates all got hat tricks as well, including Pop Atten-West,  JP Ayolmbong and Johnny DeSouza. Henry Scott continued to be an offensive star for the Kings as he netted four goals. The Kings fell to 2-4.
