Major Arena Soccer League 3 saw a third of four playoff berths secured after DMV Gunners (7-4-0) defeated Salisbury Steaks. Philadelphia Spartans (8-3-0) and Baltimore Kings (5-5-1) also earned victories.

With one final playoff spot remaining Baltimore are set to host Fredericksburg Fire (6-5-0) this Saturday in a win-and-your-in showdown.

Five different goal scorers helped the Gunners clinch a playoff spot in their inaugural season. Rene Quintanilla scored the game winner in the fourth quarter before Jason D'Addario added an insurance marker a minute later. Nick Over allowed just three goals to earn the victory in net.

Salisbury (3-8-1) wrap up their inaugural season with three victories and 10 points.
