Gunners, Fire and NoVA all victorious in Week 10

After ten weeks of MASL 3 action five of the seven teams are now within five points in the standings. DMV Gunners, Fredericksburg Fire and NoVA FC all earned victories last week to help create the log jam atop the table.

DMV Gunners 10, Virginia Marauders 5

Manny Ruiz netted the hat trick helping the Gunners (4-2-0) past the host Marauders. Edixon Moreira and new signing Jaime Lupian each scored twice for DMV who led from start to finish.

Fredericksburg Fire 6, Salisbury Steaks 5 (OT)

For the second straight week Fredericksburg (4-2-0) won in overtime, this time at home over the improving Steaks. Uriah Bentick scored three times - including the OT game winner - helping the Fire come from behind. Odie Johnson scored a pair for Salisbury who put up four goals in the final quarter to take a 5-4 lead with 7:38 to play in regulation.

NoVA FC 12, Baltimore Kings 6

Johnathan Rivera and Jean Phillipe led the NoVA (5-2-0) offense each scoring three times helping the host double up on the Kings. Gavin Boyer scored a hat trick for Baltimore in a losing effort.
