Kansas City, Springfield will kick off MASL 3 South Division action in 2025-26

TAMPA -- Deportivo Shaolin, a new teams based in Kansas City, will get the honor of kicking off divisional play in the South Division of Major Arena Soccer League 3 when they host the returning Springfield Demize.

Each club in the eight-team division will play 10 regular season games, with every game but two in the entire division set for Saturday starts. The two Sunday games will be at the 4,500 seat OG&E Coliseum where the OKC Certified Lions will play doubleheaders with their parent MASL 2 team. 

In fact, the Lions season and home opener will be Saturday, December 20 when they host the Wichita Selection, who will have their home opener on Saturday, December 27 when they host Springfield. 

The Houston Bolt will open at home by hosting the Certified Lions on Saturday, January 3, and The Bold Dream FC out of Austin Texas will entertain the Kansas City Barilleros on Saturday, Jan. 10. The Barilleros first time at home will be on Saturday, January 10 against TBD FC. 

The RGV Barracudas -- who won the MASL 3 Championship last year in defeating the Roc City Boom, will welcome their home fans for the first time on Saturday, January 1o when Deportivo Shaolin comes to Brownsville. The Houston Bolt will be the last to have its home opener, set for Saturday, January 17 against the Wichita Selection.
