MASL 3 Week 11 recap

Four games were contested over last weekend in MASL 3 with four different teams taking home three points. NoVA FC (6-2-0) now sit atop the table with Philadelphia Spartans and DMV Gunners both just three points back.

NoVA FC 13, Philadelphia Spartans 6

Five goals by Johnny De Souza powered host NoVA past Philly in a battle of the top two teams. KJ Nadeau added three goals while Junior Nadio scored a pair in the win. Timothy Dugan scored two goals to lead the Spartans offense

Fredericksburg Fire 15, Virginia Marauders 9

Uriah Bentick scored five times, Damen Metry four helping the Fire to a home win over the Marauders. Trevor Bottomley also netted a hat trick for Fredericksburg (5-3-0) who currently sit in the fourth and final playoff position.

Baltimore Kings 9, DMV Gunners 6

Gavin Boyer and Antonios Araviakis each scored a hat trick to lead the Kings (4-3-1) past DMV. Edgar Godoy led the Gunners offense with a goal and assist.

Philadelphia Spartans 14, Virginia Marauders 7

Jason Rocha (photo below) found the back of the net four times to help the Spartans win on the road.
