Northern Virginia kicks off defense of MASL 3 title against Baltimore this weekend

TAMPA, Florida -- Looking for its fourth straight Major Arena Soccer League 3 championship, Northern Virginia FC will be featured in the MASL 3 2024-25 season opener when they host the Baltimore Kings Saturday in Winchester, Virginia.

Repeating will be a huge challenge this year, following the unification of MASL 3 and the Premier Arena Soccer League this past summer, which as swelled the ranks of MASL 3 to 27 teams this year. All teams will play within one of six divisions, and all 10 regular season games for each team will be against division foes.

With the unification recently, the Major Arena Soccer League now has approximately 80 teams under its banner, playing in four leagues including the brand new MASL W for women.
