Playoff seeding nearly set as MASL3 regular season wraps up this weekend

by Andrew Ross

Barring  a 27-goal differential in the Baltimore Kings vs Skyline City CF regular season finale this weekend, the MASL3 East playoffs seeding and match ups are, set as the first MASL3 regular season concludes this weekend. NoVA FC looks to complete an undefeated regular season as it host second place Philadelphia, while the Baltimore Kings host Skyline City.

If the Kings are unable to overcome the 27-goal differential they will have the unenviable task of facing NoVA in the second semifinal 3 pm on Saturday, March 26 prior to the Baltimore Blast game against the San Diego Sockers at SECU Arena. This is based upon the fact that both Baltimore and the current third place Fredricksburg Fire spit their two regular season games each team winning by a two-goal margin. Therefore the next MASL3 tiebreaker is overall goal differential.

That would then leave the second place Philadelphia Spartans playing the third place Fredricksburg Fire at 4 pm EST at SECU Arena prior to the Blast hosting Utica City FC  on Friday, March 25.

Fans of all four teams can call the Blast offices at 410-732-5278 or online at https://baltimoreblast.com/individual-tickets/ to order your tickets. Each ticket is good for both the MASL3 and Blast game that day. Come see the future MASL stars, and four great professional teams.
