Spartans, Kings victorious in MASL 3 opening week

Four goals by Pat Fleming helped the Baltimore Kings kick off the new season with a victory over the Salisbury Steaks. Goalkeeper Brian Greuter made 15 saves to earn the win in net.

Gavin Yingling scored both goals for Salisbury who played their first-ever game.

Ken Truong scored four times for the Kings who spoiled the Virginia Marauders season opener. Henry Scott (three goals, two assists) and Josh Danza (two goals, four assists) powered the Baltimore offense.

Chris Mendoza scored a pair for the Marauders in their first game of their second season competing in MASL 3.
