It's a top of the table showdown in Major Arena Soccer League action Saturday night as the top two teams in the east -- NoVA FC and the Fredericksburg Fire -- will clash in Fredericksburg.

NoVA FC is coming off a President's Day win as they topped the Virginia Marauders, 11-7, behind a hat trick from Iliass Laghjibi. Teammates Ryan Hall, Bernie Majano and Vagner Marques all added two goals each.

Despite having a goal differential of just plus-4, the Fire sit atop the East with a 5-1 mark, while NoVA FC, the defending league champions, is just a half-game back at 4-1.

This is the second meeting in Fredericksburg recently. The two teams combined for 31 goals on Feb. 11 when NoVA FC took a 20-11 decision. Ahmed Sheta had seven goals in the win, while Carson Jeffris had four for the Fire.

With three teams vying for the important third spot in the division, the Baltimore Kings will have an big matchup against the Philadelphia Spartans at Coppermine Du Burns Arena. That will kick off at 9 p.m EST,

The Kings have only played two of their 10 regular season games, with both losses against Fredericksburg, including one by just a goal. Philly is 1-2 with their win, however, against NoVA FC back in early January.
