TAMPA, Florida -- The first team in Major Arena Soccer League 3 to finish their 2025-26 season will have to wait to see if they are heading the league playoffs late next month, but as of the completion of Week 15, none of the six teams that will make the postseason have been finalized yet.
That's not to say there isn't a good idea of at least a few teams that could win their division, starting with the Roc City Boom which put up another dominating win, and is outpacing the rest of the East Division.
Meanwhile, Maryland and Northern Virginia were the big winners in the scrambled Atlantic, where four teams are still in very strong contention for a playoff spot. Deportivo Shaolin finished their season by splitting a pair of weekend game, settling for a final mark of 7-3 which currently is good for first in the South. But they can be caught still by the OKC Certified Lions and the RIGV Barracudas, the defending league champs who are starting to play to their pedigree with a win this weekend as well.

The Great Lakes North top spot will be on the line when Cincinnati visits Muskegon on Friday. Both teams are 6-0, and the Risers have a goal differential of plus 28. The Swerve's differential is plus 27, meaning its an epic matchup at Trinity Health Arena to highlight Week 16. It's the first of three straight for the Risers next weekend -- harkening back to the 1990s and the National Professional Soccer League when teams played three-games in three-days several times a year -- as they will be in Detroit for games Saturday and Sunday. The Baltimore Kings and Northern Virginia will also tangle next weekend in a massive Atlantic Division showdown.
