TAMPA, Florida -- There's definitely some intrigue in Week 8 of Major Arena Soccer League 3 play this weekend, in part with the debut of two more clubs, and in part because of the guarantee of a little league history being made as well.
Roc City Boom and Youngstown will make open their 2025-26 seasons with home starts. The Boom, who advanced all the way to the league finals, will host the Cleveland Samba while the Nighthawks will welcome the Sahara Gunners to town in the always explosive East Division.

History will be made in Winchester, Virginia. The Marauders, who have never won a game in now their fourth season, will entertain Cumberland Valley, who in their first year, is also winless. Both teams have been very competitive in recent losses to very good teams, but only one will come away Sunday with their first ever MASL 3 triumph.
Other matchups include the Cincinnati Swerve hosting Detroit Waza Flo, the Maryland Storm on the road to Northern Virginia and the RGV Barracudas in Austin to take on the Bold Dream FC.
